So, I had this brilliant plan today. I wanted to take Jolie out for a little photoshoot. I had these angel wings that I bought ages ago that I haven’t had a chance to use them yet, so I was going to get her to wear them and take some pictures outside. I had visions of beautiful mountains and fields and blue skies with wind blowing through her hair and beautiful backlighting….ah….it was going to be beautiful. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out that way. She had other plans. There was a standoff with the wings, so I gave up and put them on Jemma instead. LOL Jolie wasn’t having it! Meanwhile, it’s impossible to shoot your own kids by yourself. They don’t like to follow direction when it comes from their parent. ha ha So, long story short, I didn’t get anything! aaahhhhhhhhh Oh well, one day she may decide to model for me. Maybe I need to come up with some better bribes? Any suggestions? LOL Here are a couple of Jemma. Nothing special, but thought I’d share anyway. In the meantime, I’m looking forward to my much awaited newborn shoot on Saturday! Stay tuned for the sneak peek!

Jemma got a new teething necklace in the mail yesterday so I thought I would take a few snaps of her wearing it just for fun.  She probably should have had one ages ago, but I couldn’t find one that I liked until now.  She still has eight more teeth to go before she’s done with her first set.  LOVE this yellow necklace!  I think it matches her goldilocks quite nicely.  : )

I know it’s been quiet on the blog the last few weeks.  I have a good excuse though…  I sprained my ankle.  Apparently it was a “bad” sprain too.  I couldn’t walk for the first week.  Needed crutches for the first two weeks.  I’m still walking with a limp today and I have a cankle that won’t seem to go away.  It’s mighty attractive!  Anyway, enough of my sob story…LOL

I was playing around with natural light in the studio yesterday, using Jolie as my model.  Just thought I’d share a little snap of her for now.  I have a newborn session scheduled for next week, so watch out for the sneak peek!
