One of my maternity clients got to welcome home her newborn baby girl recently.  She is so cute.  I had the opportunity to photograph her on Thursday.  She was 12 days old and ready to face the world.  They were here for 3 1/2 hours and she only slept for about 5 minutes during that time.  I guess she didn’t want to miss out on the party?  he he  Anyway, we didn’t get a chance to get a bunch of different shots but be did get the ones that mum wanted and that’s all that matters, right? : )

Here’s a look back at mum’s bump before baby arrived on the scene.  I love this shot.  I got it printed on metallic paper and have it displayed in the studio.  It looks fantastic in print!:

This shot was one that mum wanted as well. This was taken in a bassinet that mum slept in when she was a baby too. How cool is that?

I’ve been waiting for this little guy to make his appearance.  We were suppose to do his session two weeks ago but he didn’t want to come out of mama’s belly!  He ended up being 10 days overdue.  What a cheeky little guy.  He is officially 9 days old today and as sweet as can be.  This little guy has been booked in for four more sessions in the next year so you’ll be seeing a lot of him.  I’m looking forward to watching him grow!  Here are a few shots of him from today:

I had the pleasure of photographing another newborn boy on the weekend.  He was such a good model for me.  The boys seem to be more laid back these days.  He let me do whatever I wanted.  Love that!  He had the best hair too.  Thick and dark.  Such a cute little man.  :)  Here are a few photos from our session:
