I had a sleepy little sweetie in the studio recently.  I got a TON of pictures of him while he was here.  He did such a good job modelling for me.  : )  Here is a sneak peek from that session:

I am stunned as I watch the news about the floods in Queensland.  I feel like I need to do something to help but I have no idea what.  The only thing I can think of is to donate any sessions fees that I would have collected over the next two months to the flood relief appeal.

Where have I been?  The crickets have been chirping on the blog.  My bad!  I’ve been busy, busy.  I’ve been visiting with family, starting another new business, having photoshoots, raising two kids…PHEW!  I need a nap.  All is well in my world though.  : )

Just to add to the madness, I’m off to Sydney this weekend to attend a fabulous Fashion, Glamour & Beauty Master Class in Photography.  I’m looking forward to it!  It is going to be taught by the amazing Peter Coulson who was recently named the 2010 Canon AIPP Australian Professional Photographer of the Year.  I’m giddy with excitment over this opportunity to learn from a master!  Hopefully I’ll be able to share some fab images from my weekend away.  Stay tuned!

My niece is visiting from Sydney this week.  We’ve had a great time showing her around Canberra and spending time with her.  She has been a lifesaver for me in the past week as I needed a babysitter at the last minute!  She did a great job.  She’s turning 15 soon and I thought I would do a little photoshoot for her while she was here.  We had plans to do them outside but the weather hasn’t been co-operating the past few days.  Raining like crazy!  We ended up in the studio in the end.  That’s okay though, I think they turned out great.  She looks so pretty against the blue backdrop.  LOVE those freckles!  Here are a couple of snaps from our session together yesterday:
